The Active 433MHz RFID Badge Tag is a battery-powered RF transmitter that can be clipped onto an article of clothing or worn around the neck with a lanyard. Every tag broadcasts its factory pre-programmed unique ID and a status message at a periodic rate.
This Badge Tags are specifically designed for tracking personnel and their interaction with tagged assets. Alternately, when used with an RFID Reader portal antenna system, the badge tag can form part of an access control system for controlled areas.
These active RIFD tags are programmed to operate at a 2-second beacon rate. Tag cases are impact resistant, splash resistant and temperature stable. Read ranges up to 1,000 feet can be obtained with optional antenna configurations. The standard tag operates with a very low duty cycle for a long battery life of greater than 3 years (typical) at a 2-second beacon rate.
